ACL Live is eager to welcome Todd Snider and Jason Isbell to the Moody Theater stage this fall! After the releases of Snider’s March Agnostic Hymns & Stoner Fables and Isbell’s pending live album this fall, both artists will bring their singing and songwriting talents to the table for one great show this October.
Todd Snider has been in the studio creating his new album, Agnostic Hymns & Stoner Fables. A self-proclaimed Storyteller according to his 2011 live album, Snider has turned his voice into that of a generation. Leaving nice behind, he experiments with new styles and sources of inspiration to arrive at a blunt, honest, look at a life that’s sometimes unhappy, often unfair, but never without humor. Messy but poignant, the album encapsulates Snider’s signature ability to connect with the lives of Americans across the country.
Formerly a member of the Drive-By Truckers, Jason Isbell has been recording both as a solo artist and with his band, the 400 Unit, since 2007. Isbell has always stayed true to his Alabama roots, and his music has often been praised to reflect a blend of his upbringing and the state of the times. After the success of 2011’s Here We Rest with the 400 Unit, Isbell spent this past spring supporting Ryan Adams on his European tour.
