Home Alone is a film that teaches us many lessons about life and Christmas. It teaches us about the importance of family, of always appreciating loved ones because you may never get to see them again, and of recognizing that even the scariest looking strangers can turn out to be a dear friend who will help you out in a time of need.
It also taught us about fortifying our homes against outside intruders in ways that just border on psychological warfare. It's amazing that the Wet Bandits weren't shell shocked, emotional wrecks in the sequel. At this Action Pack quote-along, enjoy all-you-can-eat cheese pizza, because that would also be the first thing you'd do as a kid with no adult supervision. Actually, we probably all learned that lesson was true during college.
