A week into shooting the Canadian tax shelter film CEBE, the producer realized that the director was not getting the job done and handed the directorial reins to co-star Dennis Hopper. The resulting film, retitled Out of the Blue, is a terrific story about a teenage girl dealing with rough parental and societal issues.
Richard Linklater will introduce the film and participate in an audience discussion afterwards.
