The very first Ai Austin Unofficial SXSW Day Party takes place Saturday, March 18 and is free and open to the public. Tickets are limited so be sure to RSVP.

Here's a sneak peek at the internationally inspired menu that the Art Institute of Austin culinary department is preparing for the event. 
 

Flavored popcorn (provided all day): White cheddar, garlic, rosemary

Spain | 1:20 to 2 pm
Vegetarian: Grilled zucchini, mint, tomato, crusty roll
Traditional: Serrano ham, Manchego cheese, tomato, crusty roll
*Both dishes served with Spanish white grape, garlic, and almond soup

Vietnam | 2:50 to 3:30 pm
Vegetarian: Roasted cauliflower, grilled garlic eggplant, cucumber, pickled carrots and daikon, herbs, chili shallot aioli, petit baguette
Traditional: Roasted pork loin, cucumber, pickled carrots and daikon, herbs, chili shallot aioli, petit baguette

Little Italy | 4:20 to 5 pm
Vegetarian: Roasted red peppers, mushrooms, fresh mozzarella, olive salad, hoagie
Traditional: Prosciutto, soppresata, fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, olive salad, hoagie

American Dessert | 5:50 to 6:30 pm
