For 33 years, AIA Austin has hosted its AIA Austin Homes Tour, showcasing the work of Austin’s leading architects and their residential designs. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 34th Annual AIA Austin Homes Tour will go virtual, opening its doors to a global audience and featuring nine diverse homes across Austin, including a ranch getaway in the Texas Hill Country.

The self-guided tour will offer a combination of videos, 360-degree virtual walkthroughs, and live sessions with architects and collaborators. AIA CE credit is available for the live sessions.

The tour encompasses a wide array of design techniques, craftsmanship, and creative use of materials. This year’s featured award-winning architecture firms include Alterstudio Architecture and Mell Lawrence Architects (combined work), baldridgeARCHITECTS, Tim Cuppett Architects, Charles Di Piazza Architecture, Mark Odom Studio, Thoughtbarn, Jobe Corral Architects, Studio 512, and Hugh Jefferson Randolph Architects.

The event runs October 16-19, but only the sessions on October 17 and 18 will be live.
