The programmers will begin presenting their 100 essential films in 2014, and January features special screenings of Terry Gilliam's beautiful and twisted tale of a bureaucrat in a retro-future Orwellian state attempting to fix an administrative error and ending up as the enemy of the state. With its surreal imagery and commentary on society, it might just be Gilliam's masterpiece, unless he can somehow complete The Man Who Killed Don Quixote.
