All Saint’s Day Celebrations

eventdetail

St. Theresa’s Catholic School honors All Saints’ Day by hosting a parade and an all school Mass Nov. 1 at 8am. First-grade students will dress up as their favorite saints and parade around the school singing “When the Saints Go Marching In” as the St. Theresa’s community cheers them on.

St. Austin Catholic School will celebrate the occasion as their second-grade students dress up as their favorite saint and participate in Mass.  Students will share information about their saint such as feast day, birthday, interests, family life and more.

Santa Cruz Catholic School in Buda is holding a “Living Saints Museum,” a saint’s parade, and an all-school Mass. After Mass, the fourth through seventh graders will portray saints and will recount the story of a saint’s life. The prekindergarten through third graders will take turns touring the museum. After lunch, all students will put on their saint costumes. Each class will then have each student present the lives of their saint. Around 2 p.m., they will hold the All Saints’ Day Parade around the grounds of the school.
