ART on 5th's youngest artist is returning to Austin this summer with a new body of work. Reflecting on what it means to be a photographer in the age of smartphones and selfies, Brandon Snow works with an arsenal of film cameras dating from the 1930s to record the objects and events around him. He then translates these images from film to canvas or linen through a large-format silk-screening process developed by the artist himself.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through July 8.
