Cliff Garten has just completed a public art project commissioned by Art in Public Places for the new Topfer Theatre on the ZACH Theatre campus. He will speak about his artistic process, inspirations, and body of work, as well as his new interactive sound sculpture "Rhytons" at the Topfer Theatre.
Cliff Garten has completed more than fifty-five artworks in public places throughout the U.S. and Canada in collaboration with significant architecture, landscape architecture, and engineering projects. Garten is the recipient of awards and fellowships from the Americans for the Arts, National Endowment for the Arts, Bush Foundation, Jerome Foundation, and the American Society of Landscape Architects.
