eventdetail

Internationally-acclaimed cellist David Finckel and pianist Wu Han learned to play together before they could even speak the same language. They have since pursued a multi-faceted musical life together, including becoming the co-Directors of the esteemed Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center and being named Musical America’s Musicians of the Year. Their concert activities have taken them from New York’s stages to the most important concert halls in the United States, Europe and Asia, and now they are coming to perform in Austin.

The program, part of the Austin Chamber Music Festival, will include a selection of works by Russian composers, including Shostakovich and Rachmaninov.
