Austin Civic Orchestra presents One of Our Own. The featured soloist will be ACO's own trombonist Megan Boutin, winner of the biannual ACO Member Concerto Contest. She will perform Danish composer Launy Grøndahl's Concerto for Trombone and Orchestra. Also on the program will be contemporary composer Aaron Jay Kernis' powerful Musica Celestis. For the second half of the program, the orchestra will perform Beethoven's Fifth Symphony.
