Ceramic works from Austin Community College students will be on display at the ACC Rio Grande Campus Kramer Gallery, featuring a wide range of techniques in sculptural and functional ceramic art.
During the opening reception, Professor Ishmael Soto will be honored. A lifelong force in the Central Texas Arts Community and beyond, ACC has been the beneficiary of his teaching and the sharing of his extraordinarily broad and deep experience as an artist and teacher. Professor Soto retired this year after 30 years of service to ACC, during which he has touched the lives of students from all walks of life.
The exhibit will be on display from September 12 through October 21.
