ACAC Gallery presents "Rights of Passage," a solo exhibition featuring Rejina (Reji) Thomas, a visionary, trendsetter, and true acolyte of Texas history and the arts. Thomas is best known for her monumental glass work, architectural embellishments and paintings on canvas. Her artwork moves from Cubistic Surrealism to Abstract Expressionism. She uses geometric form and color to reflect personal awareness while deconstructing racial history through pre-meditative expression. Thomas’ acclaimed artwork is held in public places and private collections around the world.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through May 31.
