Austin Dance India will present Love Beyond Time, an evening of love stories from India in Bharata Natyam dance with live musical accompaniment by artists touring from India.

Love stories from ancient Indian mythology are deeply symbolic, rich in emotion, and often intertwined with spiritual and cosmic themes. They go beyond mere romance, reflecting ideals of devotion, sacrifice, destiny, and the union of the mortal and divine. Dancers include Purna Bajekal, Soumya Nagesh, and Anuradha Naimpally.

Opening the show is ADI's student group, including Nidhi Allaboyina, Hamsika Ellore, Tvisha Kalambi, Vamshika Konda, Dhwani Nathan, and Keerthi Rajagopal. Throughout the performance, there will be live music by Mumbai-based vocalist NN Siva Prasad, Delhi-based mridangist percussionist Ramamurthi Kesvan, Houston based nattuvanar and dancer Surabi Veeraragavan, and Dallas-based violinist Uma Mahesh.

The audience will have a chance to meet the artists after the show. El Mirai Global's display of artisan crafted jewelry and clothing from India as well as concessions will also be available for sale.
