While most aspiring comedians build their careers on the road, Jesus Trejo must do so from home, attending open mics and auditions in the Los Angeles area while at the same time serving as his aging parents’ sole caregiver. Transforming adversity into comedy, Jesus uses his life experience as material for his routine. He continues to reach for his dream while also taking over his father’s landscaping business to keep the family afloat.
