The 32nd annual Austin Film Festival and Writers Conference will feature well over 100 different feature film and short film programs, along with lectures and conversations with a variety of well-known movie and television writers.
Highlights of the film festival include opening night film Christy starring Sydney Sweeney; centerpiece film Eternity starring Miles Teller, Elizabeth Olsen, and Callum Turner; the new Rian Johnson film Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery; the new Chloé Zhao film Hamnet; Train Dreams starring Joel Edgerton and Felicity Jones; the new Bradley Cooper film Is This Thing On?'; the new Joachim Trier movie Sentimental Value; Jay Kelly starring George Clooney and Adam Sandler; and closing night film Nuremberg starring Russell Crowe and Rami Malek.
Films will be premiering alongside AFF’s Annual Writers Conference, featuring awardees and panelists across all sectors of the industry. Among the speakers/panelists will be Alec Berg of Silicon Valley; Pixar writer Mike Jones; independent producer Christine Vachon; Top Gun: Maverick director Christopher McQuarrie; Knives Out director Rian Johnson; and more.
