The 30th Anniversary Austin Film Festival and Writers Conference will feature well over 100 different feature film and short film programs, along with lectures and conversations with a variety of well-known movie and television writers.

Highlights of the film festival include opening night film Saltburn from writer/director Emerald Fennell; Jeff Nichols' new film, The Bikeriders, starring Jodie Comer, Austin Butler, and Tom Hardy; retrospective screenings of Shaft (1971) and X-Men (2000); All of Us Strangers, starring Andrew Scott, Paul Mescal, Jamie Bell, and Claire Foy; Alexander Payne's The Holdovers starring Paul Giamatti; and closing night film Day of the Fight by Jack Huston, making his directorial debut.

The Writers Conference will include appearances by Damon Lindelof, Lauren Shuler Donner, Lee Eisenberg, Celine Song, Karyn Kusama, Joanna Calo, Scott Alexander, Larry Karaszewski, and more.

Screenings and other events will take place at the Paramount Theatre, Stateside at the Paramount, Galaxy Theatres, and other locations. For a full schedule of events, go to the festival website.
