Australian Short Film Today is an international traveling roadshow featuring award-winning Australian short films from the past year, highlighting the rising stars in Down Under’s active film scene.

This year’s 90-minute selection includes the drama Judas Collar, which won best narrative short film at Austin Film Festival and is Academy Award eligible; the mysterious Nursery Rhymes which was nominated for best narrative short at the Australian Academy of Cinema & Television Arts; An Act of Love featuring identical twins, which is the Australia Directors’ Guild winner; the poignantly reminiscent High School Lover which premiered at Flickerfest; a cyber take on love with A Quick Love Story which had its global premiere at Australian Film Today in New York to audience acclaim; and a ringer from New Zealand, Fire In Cardboard City, an animated disaster movie that premiered at Tribeca.
