AFS presents the brand new restoration of master director Olivier Assayas’ long unavailable 1994 classic, which brilliantly captures the textures, sights and sounds of a tortured adolescence. Christine (Virginie Ledoyen) and Gilles (Cyprien Fouquet) are high school sweethearts who can’t stay out of trouble, and so parents, court and school threaten to keep them apart.
Each screening will be followed by a video Q&A featuring Olivier Assayas and Richard Linklater.
