A brilliant account of the absurdities of fascism and war, Europa, Europa follows a young Jewish boy who is separated from his family at the war’s outset, and begins disguising himself as the enemy in order to survive. Based on a true story, the film earned writer/director Agnieszka Holland a Golden Globe Award. Holland was nominated for an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay.

This screening will feature a post-film conversation with Holland.
