Directed by Henry Hathaway, Niagara tells the story of Rose, a woman who is aware of her seductive looks and puts them to their full use while on vacation at Niagara Falls with her husband who is suffering from war-induced PTSD. Rose wants to end her marriage at all costs and is ready to enlist the help of man named Patrick. The film stars Marilyn Monroe in a rather sinister role, along with Joseph Cotton and Jean Peters.
