Austin Food & Wine Alliance will present the 7th Annual Wine & Swine. Central Texas’ top chefs will honor the spirit of New Orleans for the popular annual pig roast, one of Austin’s most anticipated seasonal events that raises funds for culinary grants.

In a tribute to the food, drink, and music of New Orleans, Wine & Swine features 20+ chefs preparing pork dishes and whole roasted pigs for the outdoor party that includes live music from the Gulf Coast Playboys, premium wine, beer and spirit tastings, and plenty o’ pork. Bringing New Orleans’ cocktail flair to this year’s event will be famed French Quarter Mixologist Chris Hannah of Arnaud’s French 75, the French Quarter bar presided over by head bartender Hannah, who won this year’s James Beard Award for Outstanding Bar Program.

This year’s chef lineup features Aaron Franklin of Franklin Barbecue, as well as San Antonio’s Chef Steve McHugh of Cured, Pieter Sypesteyn of The Cookhouse and Luis Colon of Bexar Pub.
