The 7th Annual Koblenz Karneval will be a fun-filled celebration of Austin’s friendship with its sister city, Koblenz. The event will feature music, dancing, and German Karneval traditions. There will be live performances, including the famous Austin Männerballett, as well as authentic German Karneval music. Visitors can show off their creativity in the costume contest, take part in the traditional Polonaise, and dance the afternoon away. Austin Beerworks craft brews will be available for purchase, and food trucks will be on-site to keep you fueled for the festivities.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Austin-Koblenz Sister Cities Committee, a volunteer-run organization that fosters student exchanges and international friendships.
