The Little Hummingbirds Society project will let the kids learn about giving back to their community and the importance of Austin's parks, trails, and green spaces. Parents will get to have fun with their kids while promoting a healthy lifestyle, volunteerism, and advocacy for their youngest park-goers. There will be a guided nature walk through the park while picking up trash along the way and end the day with fun at the splash pad. Snacks, sunscreen, gloves and trash grabbers will be provided and breaks will be built into the day. Water bottles, closed-toe shoes, and hats are encouraged.
