The Refugee Roundtable of Austin will present its annual celebration of World Refugee Day. This year’s event will offer live-streamed fireside chats with refugees and experts on refugee resettlement, new book readings from authors, language lessons and a variety of family-friendly downloadable activities. This event is one of the dozens that will take place across the nation to celebrate World Refugee Day.
Those interested can log on to austinrefugees.org to register for these live events and to receive viewing instructions. The public is invited to learn more about refugees and participate in celebrating their cultures, stories, and experiences.
