KUT’s Austin Music Map wants to know: what does Austin sound like to YOU? The citywide music collaboration project combines the recorded, natural sounds of everyday Austin (like the Congress Avenue bridge or runners at Town Lake) with original compositions by artists such as Dana Falconberry and Adrian Quesada. Austin residents recorded and submitted their own clips of the city, which were then handed over to a group of local artists given two weeks to incorporate them into new songs. Additional performers include Orión García, Graham Reynolds and Butcher Bear, Blaze, Soundfound and Hardproof Horns and Roger Sellers. You're invited to hear the sounds of Austin live at the ND.
