Othello is the tale of a hero lured into jealousy by doubts, manipulated by perhaps the greatest villain in all Shakespeare — Iago. Discover a war hero in love with a young admirer, Desdemona. Early in the play, she flees her father’s home to elope with her celebrated Othello. See how Iago, step by cunning step, tricks all those who surround him to trap Othello by his passion to be come a jealous monster.  Iago’s reason? None, other than that he hates Othello for being such a good person.
