For its 9th season, Young Shakespeare, Austin Shakespeare’s teen company, will transform Richard Garriott de Cayeux’s outdoor Curtain Theater into the Forest of Arden for a production of the romantic comedy As You Like It. When the fascinating heroine Rosalind is banished to a magical forest - disguised as a boy and with her cousin in tow - she seeks only refuge from her uncle’s wrath. Her unfortunate exile is transformed into a charming adventure when she encounters other expatriates, quick-tongued fools, and the handsome, lovesick Orlando.
