This season’s featured piece will be the always popular piece Peter and the Wolf, “a ‘symphonic fairy tale for children’, is a musical composition written by Sergei Prokofiev in 1936.

The concert will feature The Composer is Dead, a riotous collaboration between composer Nathaniel Stookey and children’s author Lemony Snicket (aka Daniel Handler) that combines two elements of great storytelling: music and suspense.

ASO Assistant Conductor Pablo Zamora will lead the orchestra and Austin-based actor Andre Martin (The Staircase and Walker) through the murder mystery where every member of the orchestra is a suspect.
