The Dia De Los Muertos fundraising event aims to support AVANCE-Austin's mission to shift school dropout and poverty cycle statistics. Participants will dinner under the stars, and to engage in opportunities and hands-on family activities to immerse themselves in Latino tradition and cultural heritage during the event.

There will be a special dance performance by JWSD Studio, a reading of the book Rosita y Conchita, and a performance by DJ Kickit alongside dancing for the whole family. Throughout the night, guests will have tacos y agua frescas from Sarita’s Tacos and face painting, paper making workshops, skull mask decorating, and a marigold making workshop.

Serving the Austin community since 1997, AVANCE’s mission is to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty through innovative, two-generation education and support for families with young children.
