Join the Library Foundation for a membership event celebrating the American Library Association’s Banned Books Week.
Featuring local writers, musicians, artists and other prominent Austinites reading excerpts of some of the most highly contested books in history, this will be the most subversive reading in Austin.
Author Owen Egerton will emcee with performers: Texas Monthly editor Jake Silverstein, writer Ruth Pennebaker, artist Denise Prince, musicians Sara Hickman, Amy Cook, Miles Zuniga and many others.
Beer, wine and appetizers will be available throughout the night.
