Beerthoven will present Family Ties, featuring Mezzo Soprano Laura Mercado-Wright, member of the Grammy Award-winning choral ensemble Conspirare, in the uniquely intimate and down-to-earth setting of the upstairs room of Saengerrunde Hall. Mercado-Wright will team up with pianist Michael Schneider, hailed by critics as "a pianist with exceptional insight" and a "performer with great panache" in performances across the states and overseas to Poland and France.

Joining them will be violinist Christabel Lin, whose solo and chamber artistry has been displayed in performances throughout New Zealand, Austria, and the United States. This varied program will explore music by composers who were related to one another: Johann Sebastian and Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, Felix and Fanny Mendelssohn, and Robert and Clara Schumann.
