Beerthoven presents The Wild Rover

The first program of Beerthoven's ninth season, The Wild Rover!, will feature a quartet first performed at a tavern known as The Wild Man; Beethoven's Op. 132 String Quartet in A Minor. Music from other wild men on the program includes Hugo Wolf's Italian Serenade and Debussy's one and only string quartet.

The featured ensemble is the all-Korean, all-female string quartet Risus; winners of the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition and the current Young Professional String Quartet in Residence at the University of Texas at Austin.
