Drawing inspiration from classic architecture, modern architectural theory, world literature and historical texts, El Sadek explores themes of immigration, belonging, communication, and language through a re-examination of the path that brought her from Alexandria, Egypt to Austin.

Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through July 3.
