Black Austin Democrats presents Black & Blues: A Political Party, an upscale evening of live music and great company with the Godfather of Blues, W.C. Clark. The goal is to motivate Black voters to turn out to the polls in the March Democratic Primary and the November General Election. Also, BAD will be involved in advocacy and outreach efforts surrounding the 2020 Census and 2021 Redistricting, key systemic issues that will impact Black civic participation for the next decade.
