Blackbox Gallery invites the public for an exhibition of new work by Yuliya Lanina of her signature mechanical sculptures with original music by Yevgeniy Sharlat.

Once Upon a Time is a series of small-scale mechanical sculptures based on traditional Russian folk tales. Each piece is a wind-up toy complete with a painted wooden box with moving figures, as well as music clockwork that plays a custom-composed melody by Yevgeniy Sharlat.
