This special presentation will celebrate major Blanton acquisitions made possible over the past few years thanks to funds provided by an anonymous donor to acquire work by contemporary Black artists. Featured artists include Emma Amos, Kevin Beasley, Genevieve Gaignard, Sally Mae Pettway Mixon, Arie Pettway, Robert Pruitt, Noah Purifoy, Deborah Roberts, Cauleen Smith, and Nari Ward. These works of art will be on view in the Huntington collection galleries on the second floor of the museum.
