Blanton Museum of Art presents: SoundSpace: Space and Symmetry

SoundSpace is a concert series that brings together musicians, dancers, and performance artists from all corners of Austin's artistic community for simultaneous performances throughout the Blanton.

The October concert will explore spatial music — music that surrounds and travels around the audience in all directions. The program will feature Orbits, a mesmerizing work for 80 trombones, soprano, and organ; a theatrical work by Karlheinz Stockhausen that incorporates physical movement; interactive works for guitar and theremin; and solo works for voice and percussion.
