BookPeople and Edible Austin are coming together to bring a special book signing and presentation from Jack Gilmore, author of Jack Allen's Kitchen: Celebrating the Tastes of Texas and owner of the popular Jack Allen's Kitchen restaurants. In his new book, Gilmore presents over 150 delicious recipes that feature fresh, seasonal Texas ingredients accompanied by profiles of the local farmers who supply them. At the event guests will get to enjoy some of the recipes from his book (including turkey and dressing meatballs) along with delicious beverages from Tito's, Flat Creek's and Saint Arnold Brewing Company.
