eventdetail

Creativity and community unite again for 2018’s second craftHER Market, a biannual pop-up space curated to amplify the talent and artistry of self-identifying women craft artisans and makers. In addition to craftHER’s most diverse lineup of makers to date, the fall market will feature community resource tables, a food court, panels, a craftHER photobooth from Simplebooth as well as a drop-off site for VOLUME; a collaborative pop-up library being built in collaboration with Chulita Vinyl Club and Texas State University.

Attendees are encouraged to donate records, zines, prints and any original works. This year’s signage, entrance and community mural will be created by women-owned sign-painting studio Good Snake. The market will also host a raffle benefitting CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children).
