The Austin Area Jazz Festival will start on Friday with an intimate evening of jazz entertainment featuring Grammy Award winner Kirk Whalum and Jazz/Funk trumpeter Tom Browne. The day-long celebration on Saturday will feature a diverse array of jazz artists and will be headlined by the legendary Sheila E.
