The Sixth Annual American Indian Heritage Day celebration will offer guests a chance to explore the exhibition, "Comanche Motion: The Art of Eric Tippeconnic," and enjoy American Indian dancing and drumming performances.

Throughout the day, Texas students will have the opportunity to learn about the historic, cultural, and social contributions American Indians have made to the state through educational activities and performances exclusively for school groups. In the evening, the public is invited to enjoy the traditional and contemporary arts of Texas's American Indian groups with performances by Great Promise and to explore Tippeconnic's artwork celebrating Comanche culture of the past and present.
