Iconic, innovative saxophonist Charles Lloyd makes his Paramount debut at this rare Austin appearance. After serving as Chico Hamilton’s music director and Cannonball Adderley’s bandmate in the early 1960s, Lloyd led an historic group of Keith Jarrett, Cecil McBee, and Jack DeJohnette that recorded one of the first jazz albums to sell over a million copies and was the first jazz band to play at the legendary Fillmore.
