Circle Brewing Co. will present the 0.5K for the fifth year in a row. If your metrics conversions aren't firing on all cylinders, a 0.5K is 1,640 feet. This micro marathon race takes place at the brewery, in the oversized parking lot. All runners are divided into heats, and each runner is given two pints of beer with a fill line to hold while running. Spill below the line during your run and you're disqualified. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of each heat, with a final heat to find the fastest and most careful runner of the day.
The event will benefit the American Heart Association to support their mission to improve the lives of all Americans, envisioning a world free of heart disease and stroke.
