Art in Public Places seeks to attract artists to create art for the city by participating in Austin’s public art program to amplify Austin’s culture in our shared public spaces. The Corridor Program Artist Pool will be used to commission artists to create artwork that enhances people’s experience as they travel the city by foot, bicycle, bus and vehicle.
Artist information meetings will be held in January and February. Artists who cannot attend in person will be able to join the meetings remotely.
The January 21 meeting will be at George Washington Carver Museum, while the February 8 meeting will be at Asian American Cultural Center.
