
Musical Mediation II: Six Strings Paintings will be a journey through images called to life by the expressive qualities of guitar strings, works by Paganini, Arcas, Mangore, Castelnuovo-Tedesco and Albeniz.
Part of the “The East in the West: Sounds, Minds and Dharma” Spring Festival presented by Classical Music For the World, the event will feature performances by Italian artists Francesco Mastromatteo, cello, Noemi Passiatore, classical guitar, University of Austin professor, Sandy Yamamoto, violin, as well as musicians from Austin Symphony Orchestra and the Butler School of Music at UT Austin.
