Musical Mediation III: Oriental: Sound Poetry will feature works by Granados, Morricone, Gnattali, along with world premiere by Figliola and American premiere by Tusiani. Part of the “The East in the West: Sounds, Minds and Dharma” Spring Festival presented by Classical Music For the World, the event will also feature performances by Italian artists Francesco Mastromatteo, cello; Noemi Passiatore, classical guitar; University of Austin professor, Sandy Yamamoto, violin; as well as musicians from Austin Symphony Orchestra and the Butler School of Music at UT Austin.
