Conceived by Alyssa Taylor Wendt and co-curated with Sean Gaulager, "Good Mourning Tis of Thee" addresses topical issues such as grief, loss, death, architecture, urban development, and destruction. A truly national representative exhibition, the show includes artists from Texas, New York, Detroit, and Seattle. The exhibition's dark themes are timely in many ways, politically, personally, and professionally, but also in the timing of the exhibition and related event, all taking place in October and early November, that tie into Halloween/Day of the Dead, and All Souls Day celebrations.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through November 2.
