ConnectHER, an Austin-based 501(c)3 nonprofit focused on elevating the status of women and girls everywhere, will celebrate International Day of the Girl.
The theme for the flagship event, streamed from Austin, will be centering the voices of Black Women and Girls. “Centering” means intentionally creating a space where the needs, ideas, gifts, and experiences of Black women and girls are heard and honored. Featured films will be curated by the ConnectHER team, including advisory board member Jyarland Daniels of Harriet Speaks.
