Desert Door presents Conservation Series #2 Spoke Hollow Release Party, a tour of the land with Josh Crumpton, which gives good insight into how he lives his life and reminds that one can choose their own adventure.
The event celebrates the release of Spoke Hollow, their Conservation Series #2, a limited botanical Texas sotol developed in conjunction with regenerative work on Spoke Hollow Ranch. As with many ranches in Texas, Spoke Hollow is covered with Ashe Juniper (or mountain cedar, as it’s more commonly called).
Upon arrival, guests can grab a tasting of the new release and connect with the conservation-minded folks in Texas as they enjoy passed provisions by Huckleberry. Their food highlights the South and Gulf Coast by using ingredients that are sustainably-sourced from local farms, ranches, and coastal waters. This will then be followed by a gathering in the Rack House for the premiere of Conservation Series #2, a documentary by Salt Box Films highlighting the work at Spoke Hollow Ranch.
The film will be followed by a panel discussion with Josh Crumpton, Owner/Operator of Spoke Hollow Outfitters, Dr. Karen Looby, CEO of Wild Spirit Wild Places, and Brent Looby, Desert Door Founder, who also spearheaded the recipe behind this bottle release. The night will be concluded with live music by Jordan Matthew Young.
